La Trobe University selects Alphawest for Electronic Records Management

TOWER Software Founder recognized as export hero

May 5 2006: Brand Hoff was recognized by the Australia Institute of Export for outstanding contributions to exporting. In accepting the award Brand paid tribute to his wife and co-founder, Peta Hoff, for her support and business acumen. TOWER Software, which is celebrating its 21st year in business, commenced exporting in the early 90s and has now established offices in the USA, England, Canada, Netherlands and Northern Ireland. Realizing growth of 25% year on year for the past 5 years TOWER Software completed its most successful month on record during March and export sales are expected to continue to increase particularly in North America and the United Kingdom.  read more


TOWER Software’s participation in the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games

13 April 2006: Katie Mactier after M2006TOWER Software successfully participated in the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games as a solutions provider and sponsor. As the official Electronic Document and Records Management Solutions Provider for the Games, which was held from 15 – 26 March 2006, the TRIM Context Suite was used to manage the information and records by staff of the Melbourne 2006 Corporation. TOWER Software also sponsored the TOWER Software Team, made up of 3 Australian athletes representing swimming, cycling and track and field.

The TOWER Software team performed extremely well in their individual categories. Katie Mactier won gold in the Women’s 300m Individual cycling pursuit final; Jim Piper attained a bronze medal for the Men’s 200m breaststroke final; and Adam Miller participated in the 4 x 100m track and field relay. Katie met with several TOWER Software staff members after her win to talk about her success, as well as her plans for the lead up to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.


TRIM Context 6 has been certified against VERS

30 January 2006: TOWER Software received formal notification yesterday (30/01/2006) that TRIM Context 6 has been certified against VERS Standard Specification 2 of PROS 99/007 Version 2.

VERS is the Victorian Electronic Records Strategy Standard, PROS 99/07 Standard for the Management of Electronic Records. For additional information please click here.

17 January 2006: TOWER Software has continued its aggressive expansion into the global Enterprise Content Management (ECM) market, with the acquisition of Web Content Management (WCM) technologies from Rapid Web Solutions. WCM is an integral and seamless module of TRIM Context 6, TOWER Software's ECM solution.
