TOWER Software Expands, Establishes Queensland Office

Brisbane, Australia – October 4, 2006 – TOWER Software, the leading Australian developer of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions and the leading ECM provider to government worldwide, today announced that it has established its first office in Brisbane in response to strong market growth in Queensland and the Northern Territory.

TOWER Software also announced the appointment of Jesse Edwards as Queensland and Northern Territory Branch Manager.

In this newly created role, Edwards reports to TOWER Software’s National Sales Manager, Brian Clark and is responsible for managing the company’s growing market presence in Queensland and the Northern Territory, including managing relationships with service provider and reseller partners and generating further sales.

“With over 40 customers in Queensland and a whole of Northern Territory government contract supporting 10,000 users, my key goal will be to manage the support of those customers,” said Edwards. “At the same time I will be working with partners to further increase TOWER Software’s market penetration in our two most northern states.“

“With the opening of a Brisbane office, TOWER Software can provide direct support to both our resellers and customers in Queensland and the Northern Territory, where we are the leading ECM supplier to the Northern Territory government,” said Clark. 

“With more than eight years experience in sales, marketing and branch management roles, with specific focus on records and content management solutions the past 6 years, Jesse is more than ready to step up to the challenge of growing TOWER Software’s business in Queensland and Northern Territory,” added Clark.

Before moving to Queensland in the new role, Edwards was TOWER Software’s Canberra Branch Manager.  Prior to joining TOWER Software six years ago, Edwards worked for leading IT distributor, Ingram Micro as an Account Manager.
