TOWER Software Expands in Northern Territory, Appoints Rick Steley Solutions Consultant
Darwin, Australia – August 21, 2007 – TOWER Software, the leading Australian developer of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions and the leading ECM provider to government worldwide, has announced the opening of a Darwin office and the appointment of Rick Steley as Solutions Consultant for the Northern Territory.
The opening of a Darwin office, staffed by Steley, follows TOWER Software’s whole of government contract for the supply of ECM solutions – worth a seven figure sum – with the Northern Territory Government in November 2006.
In this newly created position Steley, who reports to Queensland and Northern Territory Branch Manager, Jesse Edwards, is responsible for all technical support and training for TOWER Software’s Northern Territory customers and liaison with the company’s local business partners.
“Last year’s win with the Northern Territory Government was an important step up for TOWER Software in terms of our local success,” said Jesse Edwards. “With Rick Steley’s appointment we are fulfilling our commitment to all our Northern Territory customers, including the Northern Territory Government, to provide top line local customer support.”
“As a Darwin local I am looking forward to helping TOWER Software expand its market presence here in the Northern Territory and increasing support levels,” said Steley. “One of my first initiatives will be running regular training courses for TOWER Software’s TRIM Context users in conjunction with our partner Alphawest.”
An IT industry veteran with over 20 years experience as a senior IT engineer, Steley was the IT Consultant at the Menzies School of Health in Darwin prior to joining TOWER Software. Previously Rick worked for Darwin-based IT consultants, Connected Solutions Group.
