TOWER Software has worked with partners since its inception in 1985. Working with strategic partners such as Microsoft, Odessey and Onstream to ensure the best technology to resellers, service providers and technology partners we have looked to develop partnerships that will benefit all involved particularly our customers.
Our TOWER Software Partner Program brings together resellers, service providers, strategic and technology partners to deliver comprehensive solutions to TOWER Software customers. Our Partners provide implementation, project management, training, technology solutions, systems integration, and specific vertical market solutions. This approach allows our customers and prospects to take advantage of not only TOWER Software's domain expertise but also, our partners’ specific domain expertise.
The TOWER Software Partner Program is designed to ensure the mutual success of TOWER Software and all of its partners. Benefits of the program include joint marketing opportunities, sales development, technical support, and attendance at the annual Partner Conference. TOWER Software offers a variety of programs and participation levels to match each partner’s business.
Our business partners are fundamental to the ongoing success of TOWER Software and add significant value as the organization expands both locally and globally. Competent, accredited and well managed business partners enable TOWER Software to expand its market coverage and market share, bringing the strength of TOWER Software’s innovative product to a wider audience than was previously possible. The TOWER Value Added Reseller (VAR) Partner Program has been designed to offer Partners a set of guidelines that will provide them with the opportunity to become more successful with TRIM Context.
The objectives of the partner program are:
- To provide a systematic, process driven set of methods and guidelines that TOWER Software personnel can use to evaluate current partners, recruit new partners and generally manage their partner mix.
- To create a set of sales, marketing and technical tools that will enable current and future partners to become more successful with the product.
- To develop a “rule book” or consistent set of definable expectations that both partners and TOWER Software personnel involved in the partner management process can refer to as a definitive policy document to be used when jointly working on opportunities.
- To create a central repository of all partner related information that is consistent, up to date and easily accessible to both TOWER Software staff and partners.
Definitions of different Partner levels
Value Added Reseller (VAR Partner) - in addition to Marketing, Selling, providing first line TRIM support and responding to tenders as prime, the VAR performs a range of services including some or all of the following in relation to TRIM: integrations, configurations, implementations, conversions, change management, project management, TRIM Training, pre and post sales technical support, business analysis. A VAR is entitled to a percentage margin on TRIM sales as per the VAR agreement.
Services Partners - performs a range of professional Consultancy services including some or all of the following in relation to TRIM: integrations, configurations, implementations, conversions, change management, project management, TRIM Training, business analysis. A Service Partner may be entitled to TRIM percentage margin as per teaming agreement for specific opportunities by prior agreement with the TOWER Branch Manager where their involvement results in the sale of a TRIM license.
Strategic Partners - provide integrated and complementary product offerings to the TRIM Context platform . Our main goal is to promote mutual product awareness and increased customer satisfaction. Through these business relationships, TOWER Software and our Strategic Partners will be able to fulfill key market development objectives. Our Strategic Partnerships are designed for Tier I organizations who are focused on customers with a range of horizontal and vertical specialization, and can provide international coverage in the marketplace. The core competencies of these organizations range from management consulting and project management to systems integration providing added value to our customers solutions.
Technology Partner - performs no professional services work in relation to TRIM unless agreed by prior arrangement with TOWER Branch Manager and has appropriate Accreditation to do so. Technology Partners are generally an ISV with a requirement to integrate via TOWER API support, their own software application with TRIM to achieve seamless integration with other line of business applications. Any resultant IP remains the property of the Technology Partner.
A Technology Partner may be entitled to TRIM percentage margin as per teaming agreement for specific opportunities by prior agreement with the TOWER Branch Manager where their involvement results in the sale of a TRIM license.
