TOWER named finalist for industry ACE Awards

Online Voting Now Open

21st March, 2005— TOWER Software has been selected as a finalist in the ECM Software Vendors of Enterprise Solutions Category for this year’s Industry ACE Awards for the ECM (enterprise content management) industry, presented by ECM Connection (www.ECMconnection.com). ECM Connection is the premier online publication and sourcing site for end users and integrators in the ECM industry. According to ECM Connection Chief Editor Brian Sherman, “The Industry ACE Awards recognize vendor commitment to helping users and integrators make informed decisions about deploying ECM technologies.”

The finalists for the Industry ACE designation have demonstrated noteworthy achievement that meets all of the following awards criteria: Appeal, Content, and Education. Appeal refers to the vendor’s innovative, feature-rich product line. Content reflects valuable information resources offered on the vendor’s Web site and in its marketing collateral (e.g., product brochures, white papers, and case studies). Education refers to outstanding outreach programs and services (e.g., end user training, technical support, consulting services, partner programs, road shows, and user conferences). Four finalists have been chosen in each of the following categories.

• Low-Volume To Mid-Volume Scanning Hardware Vendors (includes suppliers of desktop, workgroup, departmental, low-volume, and mid volume scanners up to 75 ppm)
• High-Volume Scanning Hardware Vendors (includes suppliers of production and mailroom scanners, more than 75 ppm)
• Capture Software Vendors
• ECM Software Vendors – SME (small-to-medium enterprise) Solutions
• ECM Software Vendors – Enterprise-Class Solutions

One winner will be selected for each category. Online voting is open through April 22, 2005. Click here to vote. Joining the online voting public as awards judges are ECM Connection’s Sherman, as well as David Wood, Principal, Harvey Spencer Associates; Ralph Gammon, editor of the Document Imaging Report; and Ken Congdon, content management technologies editor for Integrated Solutions and Business Solutions magazines. ECM Connection will recognize the finalists and announce the award-winning Industry ACE vendors at AIIM Expo in Philadelphia, May 17-19, 2005. ECM Connection is a media sponsor of the AIIM Expo.
