DoD Enterprise Software Initiative establishes enterprise agreement with TOWER Software

12th Decmber 2005 - Virginia, USA - TOWER Software, the leading Enterprise Content Management (ECM) provider to government, announced today that HQ Operations and Sustainment Systems Group, on behalf of the Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Software Initiative, has established an Enterprise Software Agreement (ESA) with TOWER Software Corporation North America, under BPA number FA8771-06-0302 for TRIM Context Electronic Document and Records Management software and services. This Agreement includes software licenses and support for TOWER Software’s TRIM Context, training, professional services and maintenance. This Agreement is open for ordering by all DoD Components, the U. S. Coast Guard, the Intelligence Community and authorized Defense contractors. ESA discount ranges from 10 - 40% off GSA, based on dollar value ordered. Estimated requirements of $34.1M are projected to be supported over the five-year duration of the agreement.

“By leveraging requirements across DoD and consolidating the requirements for TOWER Software Corporation products into a single ESA available to all DoD customers, ESI projects a minimum of $12 million in cost avoidance across the Department of Defense throughout the five-year term of this agreement,” said Susan Kirkland, the ESI Air Force Software Product Manager at OSSG.
