TOWER Software’s latest release, TRIM Context 6R2, builds on proven advanced Enterprise Content Management solution
TRIM Context 6R2 meets increasing demands on corporate information management to support efficiency gains while achieving compliance.
October 9, 2007 – Canberra, Australia – TOWER Software, a proven global leader in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions, today announced the release of TRIM Context 6 Release 2 (6R2), a significant upgrade of its TRIM Context 6 solution which assists organizations in the capture, management, access, and security of all information, from electronic to physical. Key features of the new release include a meeting manager module, content rendering capability and a directory synchronization module for the automatic creation and updating of information from any LDAP compliant directory.
An advanced ECM solution, TRIM Context enables organizations to ensure compliance and prepare for e-discovery; increase security and protect information; improve responsiveness and enhance productivity; as well as achieve seamless integration for rapid deployment throughout the information lifecycle.
TRIM Context 6R2 new modules and further enhancements include:
- support for the entire lifecycle of information management (ILM) from creation to archival or deletion through tight seamless integration with Microsoft user experience tools and HP StorageWorks archival technologies
- a wide variety of interoperability options with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS)
- support for the automatic creation and updating of information from any LDAP compliant directory including Active Directory increasing productivity and accuracy
- ability to support long term preservation of electronically stored information with VERS (Australian Victorian Electronic Record Strategy) standard through the rendering of information into VERS encapsulated objects (VEO)
- increased usability, scalability and administrative productivity capabilities
