Museum beats e-government target for better Records Management
Swift implementation of an electronic records management system has enabled the UK's National Maritime Museum to meet government modernisation goals and achieve business efficiencies. As a state-sponsored museum, the NMM is required to meet government modernisation targets, one of the most recent of which called for all newly created public records to be stored and retrieved electronically by the beginning of 2004.
