TRIM Context 6 DoD 5015.2-STD Certified
New TRIM Context release enters market with full certification
Reston Virginia - 07/12/2005 - TOWER Software, the leading Enterprise Content Management (ECM) provider to government, announced today that TRIM Context6 to be released in early fall, passed DoD 5015.2-STD certification testing. The new release is now certified under all mandatory requirements for managing non-classified (Chapter 2) and classified (Chapter 4) records. The team also demonstrated that Context will continue to provide all the non-mandatory ‘Other Useful RMA Features’ found in Chapter 3 of the certification standard.

What I am most proud of is that we were again able to demonstrate TRIM's ability to [provide all of the ‘Other Useful RMA Features’ found in Non-Mandatory Features (Chapter 3) of the standard. This provides additional value to organizations when they are managing their critical information assets.”
The team was also successful in certifying TRIM Context’s SharePoint integration which was developed by TOWER Software’s partner BizTech Solutions, Inc. TRIM’s SharePoint integration solution ‘Portal Access to Record Systems’ (PARS) was successfully certified with TRIM Context6 under Chapter 2. This integration brings many of TRIM Context6 records management benefits to the SharePoint user. Further, Microsoft SharePoint users can perform a single search to find all unstructured information (documents, spreadsheets, presentations etc.) in TRIM Context6, SharePoint libraries and Windows directories, greatly improving the knowledge workers ability to quickly find all relevant information.
With this certification and the release of TRIM Context6, TOWER provides a DoD industry leading web services solution which will enable TRIM Context to be easily integrated with our customers’ line of business solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies. By providing support for Web Services, TOWER Software has greatly simplified and accelerated the integration development process, reducing development costs and allowing the use of existing programming resources.
