City of Coral Gables, Florida selects TRIM Context for Enterprise Content Management
Reston, Virginia – 20 June 2006 – TOWER Software and its partner, Salone Consulting Group, are proud to announce that their customer, the City of Coral Gables, plans to deploy TRIM Context 6 across their enterprise.
The Salone Consulting Group, Inc. presented an Electronic Document Management system vision utilizing TOWER Software's TRIM Context 6 solutions to the City Commission. David Armstrong, Vice President of Business Development for Salone Consulting provided the commission with an outline of how TRIM Context can enhance the City of Coral Gables business processes related to information and document management.
The Coral Gables City Commission gave the approval to work on a public service desktop project that will be a model for other government entities. This project will develop a menu of technology and services targeting many needs of the local government such as: Daystar's Legistar for legislative workflow, TOWER Software's TRIM Context 6 for enterprise content management and Dashboard Intelligent Internet Solution Process in connection with the University of Miami. The first implementation of the dashboard prototype will begin this summer.
Coral Gables City Clerk Walter Foeman has already introduced some of these technology solutions to the City to increase the operational efficiency, especially related to document management systems.
