US European Command selects TRIM Context to Manage TASKER Process and Records

Reston, Virginia – July 6, 2006 – TOWER Software, in a combined effort with Booz Allen Hamilton, announced that US European Command plans to deploy TRIM Context 6 to manage their TASKER process and records.  TASKER Management is one of the major challenges for many DOD agencies. TASKER Management is complex and includes routing, tracking and facilitating the development of the official responses (collaboration).  To develop a response, correspondences must be routed across agencies and offices.  A flexible and robust solution is required due to the volume of correspondences, the broad range of subject matter, and the number of organizations and people involved. 

TRIM Context 6, AIIM E-DOC Magazine 2006 Best of Show award winner for ECM Suites, is a tightly integrated ECM solution capable of managing and securing the full range of corporate information assets through its complete lifecycle and beyond.  In a single application, TRIM Context incorporates: document management, email management, web content management, collaboration, process management and records management.

The TASKER application was developed using the TRIM Context Software Development Kit (SDK). This toolkit enables customization of TRIM Context. TOWER Software partner Booz Allen Hamilton successfully leveraged TRIM Context Software/APIs to design a customized Microsoft .Net application that allows staff to provide accurate and timely responses to incoming inquiries sent to their agency/office. The application extends TRIM Context functionality to enable document scanning, inquiry analysis, route documents and coordinate a response between multiple offices. TRIM Context integrates with Microsoft Outlook to allow automatic integration of e-mails into the record and document management system. Designed with a component-based architecture, future releases of the TASKER solution will witness easy portability from a desktop solution to a web solution environment that integrates with Microsoft Sharepoint.
